What's on your heart stays in your circle.
This page says plainly what pure & simple keeps, what it sends, and what it lets go of.

What pure & simple keeps
The name you chose to show, your mobile number, your time zone, and the availability you set.
While a prayer request is open: who asked, when, and the intention if the requester chose to share it.
One line of memory: the date of the last prayer and who was there.
What it lets go of
When a prayer session completes, the shared intention is erased from the database. The previous completed session is deleted. There is no history, no archive, and no export. Nothing accumulates.
Your mobile number
Your number is used for one thing: the text messages described below. It is never sold, rented, shared, or given to any third party for marketing or for any other purpose. It is never shown on a public page.
Two services touch it. Supabase stores the circle's data. Twilio delivers the texts. Nothing else is connected.
Text messages
Texts arrive from one number. They tell the circle when someone asks for prayer, when pure & simple finds a time, when a time moves, and fifteen minutes before a prayer begins.
Expect a few messages a week. Message frequency rises only when the circle itself asks for prayer more often. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help.
Private intentions
An intention marked private is visible to its author only. It never appears in a text message. Members see that a friend has asked for prayer and will share when the circle meets.
Honestly: private by design
Data is stored in a database and is readable by the person who runs the app, as in nearly every app. pure & simple does not use end-to-end encryption. For a circle of close friends, that is the trade, and it is named here rather than implied away.
Signing in
There is no password. A member gets a one-time link by text. It works once and expires in seven days.
Each phone stays signed in for thirty days from its last visit. Thirty quiet days close the door softly. "Enter my circle" on the home page opens it again with a fresh link, and membership is never lost this way. The circle is for those who want to show up, and do.
Asking for a link from the landing page texts a member's number and says the same thing to any other number, so the circle's membership cannot be discovered at the door.
Who is in the circle
Every member was invited by name and approved by the owner before receiving a single text. Nothing is public. Nothing is searchable. The landing page names no one.
pure & simple is a personal project. Whisperer Strategies LLC holds the app and its phone number so that the circle has a responsible party of record. Nothing about the circle is shared with any other activity of that company.
Questions
Ask the person who invited you. Circles are small enough that the answer is one text away.
Changes
If this page changes, the circle hears about it before the change takes effect.
